Project

Be part of a forward-thinking team driving impactful change. Join banking project focused on collateral management transformation , where youll spearhead the migration of legacy data to cutting-edge solution. Dive into the intricate world of data analysis and mapping as you align legacy data with the data model, ensuring a seamless transition and optimized functionality for future operations. By maintaining a stable test environment and continuously validating data transformations, the project ensures the successful execution of ETL processes and helps drive high-quality data migration.

Responsibilities youll have

• Writing SQLs which will transform data from multiple tables and schemas and compare the output to development results
• Co-operate with developers, analysts and business to understand the proper transformation process to be able to create testing SQLs
• Manage test environment which includes recreating database from GIT repository, putting proper scripts on UNIX server, running DataStage jobs to run migration process
• Committing test cases changes into GIT repository and managing them in Qtest
• Reporting bugs in JIRA and taking ownership of delivering proper solution for it

Expected competencies and knowledge

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in software testing
• Hands-on experience with Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) process and tools
• Excellent SQL knowledge specifically in writing queries which transform data from multiple tables and schemas (OracleDB preferred)
• Experience working within Agile methodologies
• Fluent English
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team, sharing expertise, and fostering strong, productive working relationships

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IBM DataStage or other similar tool (e.g. Informatica)
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools relevant to the role
• Familiarity with database data modelling and data warehousing
