Project Information:

• Industry: banking
• Location: Gdańsk/Gdynia (1 day in office per week)
• Project language: English and Polish
• Rate: up to 160 PLN/H net + vat (b2b)

Detailed description of work task to be carried out

• The Senior IT Automation Tester with the skills and expertise of ETL testing and strong SQL knowledge are responsible for performing functional/ technical tests on the system under test.
• Understand the data lineage and transformations of underlying data and develop suitable test to evaluate the quality of changes in the transformations.
• Automation of technical and functional tests, Developing automated regression tests to evaluate the quality of change prior to the deployment to production.
• Highly motivated, proactive individual with willingness to learn, develop radical QA solutions to improve the quality of system and actively collaborate with scrum team in a SAFe setup.

• Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in Functional ETL testing, with a minimum 2+ years of experience in Banking (preferably Credit Risk).
• Expertise in Functional testing in Database and Data migration, transformations and ETL.
• Expertise and sound knowledge in Advanced SQLs and Joins.
• Experience in Slowly Changing Dimensions Data Warehousing concepts.
• Experience in any automation framework, preferably Robot Automation and Python scripting.
• Hands-on experience in Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Data Stage.
• Prior work experience in DevOps, CI CD pipeline, SAFe setup.
• Good analytical skills with ability to understand the data lineage of the system under test.
