We are looking for an experienced ETL Test Automation Engineer to join a Scrum team responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of data integration processes. The role focuses on automated and manual testing of ETL workflows and data migrations into an Operational Data Store (ODS), with strong emphasis on data validation and business rule verification.
responsibilities :
Develop and maintain automated test solutions for ETL processes and data migrations into ODS
Validate data mappings, transformations, and business rules using SQL
Perform manual data testing and exploratory testing when required
Analyze mapping documents, data models, and integration requirements
Collaborate closely with ETL developers and business stakeholders
Support regression testing cycles and production releases
Maintain clear test documentation and defect reports
Contribute to continuous improvement of data quality and testing practices

Proven experience in automated QA for ETL / data integration projects
Strong SQL / PL-SQL skills and solid knowledge of relational databases
Good understanding of ETL processes, ODS, and data warehousing concepts
Experience in manual data testing with strong attention to detail and data quality
Familiarity with Git-based version control tools (e.g., Bitbucket)
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum / SAFe)
