working in an integrated business and technology team to build and support ETL development in an agile project setup
mapping of insurance data provided by external business customers to a unified insurance data model
collaborating and gathering requirements from business underwriters and data scientists
implementing structured and processed data in an insurance data mart
collaborating with business and technical departments, exchanging technical concepts and developing best practices and business innovation use cases
requirements-expected :
fluent spoken and written English
min. 4 years of experience in a similar position
degree in Computer Science or related field
great communication and teamwork skills (ability to clearly express questions and issues around the data)
knowledge of the general (non-life) primary insurance business environment
ability to create efficient and advanced SQL / T-SQL queries
practical knowledge of Databricks SQL
experience in creating and optimizing ETL processes for data migration
familiarity with Python programming language
familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and Agile Development Technologies
understanding of relational databases concept and data modelling principles
experience in working with and optimizing large volumes of data
