Overview

Ethics & Compliance Analyst CEE at Abbott – Warsaw, Poland (office-based in Mokotow). Abbott is a global healthcare leader focused on breakthrough science to improve health. This role sits within the global Compliance Team.

What You’ll Do

  • Policy Implementation: Assist in the development, implementation, and management of compliance policies and procedures across the region. Assist in organizing and maintaining ethics and compliance records, documents, databases, tools and facilitating routing for approvals of various business requests and affiliate procedures, including interactions with third-party service providers.
  • Monitoring: Perform monitoring activities for the region’s affiliates to identify adherence to policies and procedures. Develop and maintain transactional compliance metrics, monitor trends/results, and advise on remediation plans and corrective actions.
  • Training and Education: Develop, create awareness, implement and track completion of training and communications programs on the Compliance Program, Code of Business Conduct, and other policies across the region.
  • Compliance Support: Provide ethics and compliance advice within the region and assist in addressing questions, counseling, and guidance on basic policy interpretation and requirements.
  • Risk Management: Develop knowledge of Abbott’s business areas to assist with compliance risk assessment, trend analysis and best-practice recommendations. Use data analysis tools to identify, detail and prioritize potential risks across the region.
  • Audit Support: Assist OEC leadership on compliance audits, gathering information and documentation and helping with audit findings remediation.
  • Other Projects: Support newly introduced compliance projects as needed.

Required Qualifications & Background

  • University degree required; regulatory, quality or finance degree desirable.
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Minimum 2 years of responsibility in compliance, regulatory, quality, finance and/or risk management roles, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Experience in medical device or life sciences industry is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization and analytical/problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to credibility and ethical behavior.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-country environment with diverse teams.
