For our client we are seeking a highly skilled SAP MDG Finance Consultant . This position involves collaborating with clients to understand their requirements, designing and configuring the MDG solution, and ensuring its successful integration with other SAP modules and systems. Person in this position will also play a key role in data modeling, workflow configuration, and providing ongoing support and maintenance for the MDG system.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with clients to understand their business requirements related to finance master data and translate them into MDG solutions.

Solution Design & Configuration:

Design, configure, and customize the SAP MDG solution, including data models, user interfaces, workflows, and data quality rules.

Implementation & Integration:

Implement the MDG solution, integrating it with other SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM) and non-SAP systems.

Data Modeling & Quality:

Define and manage the data model for finance master data within MDG, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and completeness.

Workflow Configuration:

Configure workflows for data creation, change, and distribution, ensuring proper approval processes and data governance.

Testing & Documentation:

Develop test plans, conduct testing, and document the MDG solution and related processes.

Support & Maintenance:

Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the MDG solution, troubleshooting issues and ensuring optimal performance.

Training & Knowledge Transfer:

Train users on how to use the MDG solution and transfer knowledge to the clients IT team.

Skills & Experience

SAP MDG Expertise:

Strong understanding of SAP MDG, including its architecture, functionalities, and best practices.

Finance Module Knowledge:

Solid understanding of the SAP Finance module (FI/CO), including key master data objects like GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers, etc.

Data Modeling & Workflow:

Experience with data modeling, workflow configuration, and user interface design within SAP MDG.

Integration Skills:

Ability to integrate MDG with other SAP modules and systems.

Consulting Skills:

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with clients and other team members.

Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
