Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated ESG Controller to join our Finance organization. In this role, you will lead the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into corporate processes, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations and contributing to our sustainability objectives. As a key business partner, you will collaborate across departments to deliver high-quality ESG data, reporting, and strategic insights that drive long-term value creation.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Collect and consolidate ESG-related data across the organization, ensuring accuracy within dedicated ESG systems.
2. Establish and maintain robust reporting policies and perform internal controls for ESG data.
3. Ensure timely and accurate ESG-related reporting and disclosures in collaboration with finance and sustainability teams.
4. Monitor and comply with evolving ESG reporting requirements and relevant regulations.
5. Collaborate with internal control and risk management teams to integrate ESG risks into the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework.
6. Support internal and external ESG audits by implementing proper controls and assurance processes.
7. Contribute to the preparation of sustainability reports in compliance with the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards).
8. Utilize and maintain tools to process and consolidate ESG data for reporting purposes.
9. Support the development and tracking of ESG-related goals, metrics, and strategies.
10. Collaborate across business groups to align on key ESG performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:

1. 1-3 years of experience with financial controls or reporting
2. Excellent analytical skills with attention to details
3. Proficiency in MS Excel is a requirement
4. Documented experiences of accounting, reconciliations, reporting and audit specifications within the financial area
5. Structured way of working, time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
6. The ability to handle and manage multiple tasks without compromising quality nor precision
7. The ability to read, write and speak corporate English
