Job Title: Test Engineer with Dynatrace expertise (and Splunk is a plus)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our dynamic GDC DES Environment Squad. The Test Engineer will be in charge of running test environments, conducting performance tests, and automating testing processes to ensure system stability and functionality before production releases. The ideal candidate will have expertise in environment, automation, and performance testing, with a strong focus on Dynatrace and Splunk.
Environment Squad Description: The Environment Squad is responsible for the effective management of non-production test environments, supporting quality development throughout the VDLC (Value Delivery LifeCycle), and defining schedules of activities in each environment.
The squad focuses on performance testing, server migration management, and process improvement.
Key services provided by the team include end-to-end performance testing, server migration management, and sharing knowledge within the squad.
responsibilities :
Focused first on Dynatrace and Splunk (as a plus) knowledge:
Performance Testing:
Conduct end-to-end performance testing to ensure functional stability before releases
Develop and implement performance test plans and scripts
Automate tests using LoadRunner API and build LoadRunner framework for CI/CD
Design and run performance tests on both user interfaces and batch applications
Analyze performance test results and identify areas for improvement
Promote continuous integration and continuous deployment
Environment Testing:
Configure and maintain test environments, including front-end, database server, operating system, browser, networking software, test data, and documentation
Identify and resolve issues related to test environments
Maintain and improve documentation for environment setup, deployment processes, and error fixing
Implement automated testing and monitoring solutions
Process Improvement:
Reduce onboarding time by automating environment setup processes
Facilitate new scripting requirements for LoadRunner or new tools
Proof of concept for scripting, new tools, etc
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Participate in daily meetings to improve team coordination and communication
Provide support in escalation and resolution of general environment issues faced by the squads
requirements-expected :
Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields
Proven experience as an environment tester or similar role!
Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies
Great knowledge of Dynatrace, Splunk (as a plus), automated testing tools and frameworks
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
