Obowiązki

• analyzing data structures and transformation needs across source and target systems,
• building efficient data migration workflows using ETL/ELT tools and scripting languages,
• mapping and converting data formats to ensure seamless integration between systems,
• extracting, cleaning, and validating data to uphold quality and consistency,
• working with data architects and business teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues,
• conducting trial migrations to detect and resolve potential problems early,
• monitoring data transfer processes to reduce downtime and avoid data loss,
• documenting technical procedures and data flow logic for future use and audits,
• ensuring data governance, privacy, and security standards are followed throughout,
• supporting post-migration checks and data reconciliation activities,
• improving performance of migration processes through script and query optimization,
• participating in project planning and reporting by highlighting progress and risks,
• managing source control and CI tools such as Git, Subversion, ClearCase, Jenkins, and SONAR,
• contributing to the design of robust, distributed, and scalable database solutions,
• leveraging experience in delivering global treasury trading platforms within complex environments.

Wymagania

• hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools for building and managing data workflows,
• strong command of SQL for querying, transforming, and validating data across databases,
• practical understanding of data migration techniques including full, incremental, and delta loads,
• ability to automate tasks and manipulate data using scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell,
• working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra,
• familiarity with data modeling concepts and mapping schemas between systems,
• experience with cloud-based data platforms and architectures,
• applying data quality checks and validation methods to maintain integrity during migrations,
• using job scheduling and orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Control-M, or Autosys,
• awareness of data compliance and governance standards such as GDPR or HIPAA,
• ability to tune and optimize performance for data loads and transformation processes,
• nice to have:
• building trust-based relationships with business stakeholders and technical teams,
• taking ownership of technical areas throughout the software development lifecycle,
• resolving issues through collaboration with testers and project teams,
• coordinating across projects or departments to ensure alignment and avoid delays,
• mentoring junior colleagues and offering guidance to the broader development team.
