You will be joining our EA Data Squad and – as an Enterprise Architect for Data – you will guide the implementation of our corporate & IT strategy and IT transformation by defining and managing the enterprise data architecture and our data capabilities covering data management, data systems and data usage.

Strategy Enablement
oAssembling and analysing strategic Business and IT objectives and demonstrating understanding of external industry and market trends, to resolve potential impact on the enterprise’s strategy, direction, and architecture
oLead analysis of current and future-state capabilities and IT environment to detect gaps and opportunities, assess new technologies, and recommend solutions for improvement to drive the enterprise towards its targeted outcomes.
oFacilitating Business and IT alignment and supporting the translation into an executable change roadmap that will realise the strategic objectives and deliver the targeted value outcomes, requiring close collaboration with a wide range of collaborators.
oDelivering target and/or transition architectures and standards and ensuring they are properly maintained and governed, providing viable options and transparency of strategic direction and implications for the enterprise and for steering of delivery.
Strategy Implementation Oversight
oProviding visibility on the progress of the capability implementation and alignment with established targets and intended roadmaps.
oProviding clarity on the evolution of Technology Debt and the planning and implementation of mitigation and remediation actions.
Delivery Planning and Solutions
oDeveloping clear standards, reference architecture patterns, principles and guardrails, through the EA governance model, to support effective and efficient decision-making and provide clarity for delivery initiatives.
oCollaborating with delivery and infrastructure teams to ensure consistency with the enterprise architecture, to maximise shared technologies, tools and processes where appropriate, and provide continuous feedback towards the further evolution of the enterprise architecture.
Architecture Advisory
Providing consultative advice and support, adapted to the relevant context, for business leaders and other stakeholders who seek actionable recommendations to support decision-making on strategy, delivery, M&A and/or other relevant topics.
Architecture Practice
oCollaborating with other architects and supporting delivery of transversal architectural topics and supplying a positive working environment.
oSupplying continuous improvement of architectural practice and effective delivery of architectural services.
requirements-expected :
5 years’ experience (minimum) in a relevant data architecture role, preferably within a leading financial or corporate enterprise.
Demonstrated experience with architecting enterprise data platforms, preferably leveraging cloud-based technologies such as Azure Synapse & Data Fabric.
Expert analytical, planning and organisational skills, and you are able to connect the dots and navigate in a constantly evolving environment.
Result-oriented and you collaborative to deliver business outcomes.
Able to balance out the longer term and short-term views and implications of different options and paths of action.
Self-motivated, eager to learn and you have a proactive working approach.

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
A good understanding and knowledge of business and technology operating models, strategic planning and cost-benefit analysis, security and risk management, information and data management, systems development methodologies and agile principles and frameworks, and/or IT service delivery, infrastructure and operations.
Experience within the Financial Services industry and you have an understanding of the complexity of the regulatory environment – considered as a plus.
Certified in an Enterprise Architecture framework (e.g. TOGAF) and are familiar with Enterprise Architecture tools – is an advantage.
