Your responsibilities
- Providing accurate and timely translation services between English and Ukrainian: on-site interpretation services and written translations, as required, for military trainings delivered to the armed forces
- Providing informal interpretation services between English and Ukrainian during training sessions, meetings at a military facility (NOT conference interpreting)
- Applying and maintaining approved terminology across translated documents
- Accepting and implementing reviewer/editor feedback to deliver final translations
- Cooperating with military personnel to support accurate international cooperation
Our requirements
- Minimum of 3 year of experience in translation/interpretation services
- Document confirming knowledge of English – B1/B2 or higher (TOEIC certificate (750+ points) or equivalent will be an additional advantage)
- Document confirming knowledge of Ukrainian- B2/C1 or native speaker
- No criminal record
- Very good physical fitness
- Flexibility to shift work
- Typing and computer skills
Optional
- Higher education diploma
- Experience working in an international military environment, familiarity with military terminology and protocols
- Experience working in multinational teams or supporting multilingual communications in official or formal contexts
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within international teams
- Valid NATO Secret clearance or ability to obtain one within a short period of time after being notified of a selection for the translator position
