About Fundraise Up

We’re a technology company trusted by many of the world’s leading nonprofits, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer’s Association, and a wide range of global NGOs. With a 4.9/5 rating across top software review platforms, we’re recognized not just for our impact, but for the quality of the product we deliver.

We operate in the enterprise segment, serving nonprofit organizations across North America, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Europe. We’re building a large and complex product ecosystem that serves nonprofits, donors, and partners worldwide, including a modern checkout experience, customizable widgets (each a standalone SPA), donor, organization, and partner portals, admin tools, and several internal apps.

Our backend is powered by Node.js (Koa, NestJS) and MongoDB. The frontend stack includes Webpack, Vue.js, and React, with nearly all code written in TypeScript. For high‑throughput messaging and background processing, we use Kafka and Bull (Redis). Analytics data is stored in ClickHouse, and we use Elasticsearch for search.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to join the Campaign Pages team. In this role, you will lead the development of one of the company’s key products – a complex donation landing page that supports more than a dozen payment methods, localization into 20+ languages (including RTL), country‑specific payment flows, and runs dozens of A/B tests every year. We already have a strong team of developers and a product and technical roadmap in place, but we need a strong technical leader to guide the team.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead a team of 3‑5 full‑stack developers.
  • Write and review code (approximately 70/30 split in favor of management).
  • Ensure the team follows company processes and engineering guidelines.
  • Own the delivery of features and adherence to deadlines.
  • Make technical decisions, prepare technical designs for new features, and align them with neighboring teams and your manager.
  • Manage technical debt and maintain the technical backlog for your team.
  • Mentor and develop engineers; conduct regular 1:1 meetings.
  • Onboard new team members.
  • Conduct performance reviews.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience, 2+ years as a Team Lead or Engineering Manager managing 5‑10 developers.
  • A hands‑on leader who can write code, make sound technical decisions, and design systems thoughtfully.
  • Strong people‑management skills – hiring, coaching, giving feedback, and resolving conflicts.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a full‑stack developer.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product companies working with our stack: TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis.
  • Experience in fast‑growing companies or startups is a plus.
  • English B2+ level;ul>

    Why Work With Us

    • A strong, collaborative product team that owns what it builds.
    • Clear product vision and access to real customer feedback from global nonprofit leaders.
    • Flat structure – no politics, just great work with great people.
    • Transparent company culture – we share how we’re growing, where revenue comes from, and what’s next.
    • Long‑term focus – we offer equity options and value sustained, meaningful contribution.

    Benefits

    • 31 days off.
    • 100% paid telemedicine plan.
    • Home Office Setup Assistance – assistance with purchasing furniture and other items for a comfortable workspace.
    • English learning courses.
    • Relevant professional education.
    • Gym or swimming pool.
    • Co‑working spaces.
    • Remote working.
    • Please note: All official correspondence from Fundraise Up will exclusively originate from the @fundraiseup.com domain. Exercise caution and ensure the authenticity of emails claiming to be from our company.
