As an Engineering Team Lead, you will excel in product engineering, build and lead a top-performing product team, and have a key impact on reaching product goals for the B2C area of GOG.
responsibilities :
Build and manage a high-performing product team optimized for achieving set goals
Own the product delivery end to end including: planning, resourcing, execution, communication, and continuous improvements based on performance metrics (DORA, SPACE)
Lead by example and hands-on contribute to product development as a software engineer
As a part of product team leadership together with product manager and product designer, co-own product backlog and roadmap, contribute with a technology perspective
Make & steer decisions towards the product impact
Continuously develop product engineering culture and maintain high software engineering standards.
requirements-expected :
3+ years of professional experience in leading cross-functional engineering teams and 5+ years as a software engineer, preferably within the e-commerce, B2C, and gaming industries
2+ years commercial experience in delivering software applications front-end (preferably Angular) or back-end (PHP7/8, preferably Symfony)
Proven ability to design and implement solutions in complex systems, including technology choices and making architectural decisions
Great communication, ability to pass direct feedback with care and empathy, and challenge status quo
Experience on managing a high-performing team, mentoring and growing team members (hiring, performance management, firing)
Strong focus on customer perspective and tangible outcomes
Cross-functional collaboration skills and english proficiency
A passion for games and the gaming industry
