SmartRecruiters is building an operating system for recruiting and is on a mission to connect people with jobs at scale. The company is growing very fast and recently hit the 1.5 billion dollar valuation. The system is used by over 4,000 companies, including LinkedIn, McDonalds, VISA, CD Projekt Red, Allegro, and many many more!
Our engineering team solves one of the most important problems of the modern economy - connecting great people with great jobs. We believe this problem can only be solved with technology, and we developed a software platform that has supported over 100M job seekers to date (with 5M joining every month).
Our system is composed of hundreds of independent services (each sitting on Docker, orchestrated by Kubernetes). We build most of our services in Java and do over 2000 production deployments per month, maintaining an uptime of 99.98. We are looking for an Engineering Team Lead to help us build the next chapter of that vision.
Our engineering organization is built with small, cross-functional teams where Engineers, Product Managers, and Product Designers work side by side to solve customer problems. Each team owns a part of our business and takes care of it, from feature ideas to usage analysis.
Data Bandits Team ensures Smart Recruiters customers seamless experience of candidate search, data analytics and reporting. Data Bandits also provides data replication tools for product teams.
We are looking for an experienced engineer that would like to grow as a people leader. Engineering Team Leads at SmartRecruiters spend around 50% of their time managing people and collaborating with stakeholders and 50% of their time designing and building products. Team Leads represent their teams externally, help others grow, and ensure the teams discovery and delivery work runs smoothly.
You may be located anywhere in Poland and work remotely or out of our Cracow office!
