The role will be responsible for delivering aspects of an Amazon Fulfilment Center (FC), focusing on its automation technologies (conveyance, sortation, robotics) and storage solutions. This person will plan, design and deliver medium and large‑size state‑of‑the‑art material handling systems and technology innovations to effectively launch new Fulfilment Centers, expansions and convert existing sites, improving operations generally. The role will own Safety and make interventions accordingly, including user ergonomics, environment and noise. There will be responsibility for budget and schedule of the projects, providing accurate updates and risk forecasts while focusing on cost‑saving without compromising quality and optimum performance.
You will work on the delivery of an Amazon Fulfilment Center with a project lifecycle of about a year with a high‑performing team. During the early project phases of design and bidding, you will predominantly work in an Amazon office or from home. During the project execution, you will typically spend 50% of your time at the project site, with peaks extending to most weekdays with full ownership during the last phases of installation, commissioning & qualification and post‑launch ramp‑up.
The role is based in Poland with 50% of the time travelling either domestically or to other EMEA countries. The location of the role is flexible within the country of your team.
The minimum base pay for this position is PLN 13.275 monthly. As a total compensation package, Amazon’s offer may include further pay components such as a sign‑on payment and eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in the USA. Your recruiting team will share final base pay and any applicable total compensation elements depending on skills and requirements.
