HRK Engineering & Manufacturing specializes in recruiting professionals for engineering and technology-related positions. We collaborate with suppliers of solutions for industrial automation, electrotechnics, robotics, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems. We are looking for employees for companies operating in the automotive, aerospace, chemical, consumer electronics, building materials production, ventilation and heating installation, sanitary systems, and plastics industries. Our team operates within HRK S.A., one of the largest consulting firms in the field of human capital management. We offer recruitment services for middle and senior management, assessment and development potential studies (including Assessment/Development Centre studies), career path building, employer branding, and payroll services. We have branches in Warsaw, Poznań, Wrocław, Katowice, Kraków, and Łódź. We represent a manufacturing company with several production plants within the group. The plant in the Pomeranian Voivodeship is in a phase of dynamic development, increasing production capacity, installing new machines, and streamlining processes. In connection with the reorganization of the structure, we are looking for an employee for the newly created position:

Engineering Manager / Technical Manager

Your responsibilities:

1. Maintaining and developing the technological processes of the plant.
2. Supervising and coordinating the activities of the engineering and maintenance department in planning and implementing the maintenance and repairs of devices, installations, networks, and systems.
3. Identifying opportunities for implementing new technologies, innovative technical solutions, and modern machine parks.
4. Ensuring proper use of the investment budget.
5. Providing substantive support and building a culture of effective problem-solving.
6. Supervising and coordinating activities regarding the analysis of purchasing needs in the technical-engineering area.
7. Improving cost efficiency and effectiveness in managing the processes of the subordinate area.
8. Implementing best engineering practices, including promoting continuous improvement and implementing solutions based on Lean Manufacturing philosophy, SMED, TPM, etc.
9. Initiating and supervising the execution of analyses and actions aimed at implementing technical solutions to improve competitiveness.
10. Supervising the accuracy and timeliness of the implementation of the investment budget (CAPEX).
11. Managing a subordinate team of approximately 30 people.

Our requirements:

1. Higher technical education, supported by specialized courses.
2. Experience in a similar position in a manufacturing company in the industry, preferably in automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, FMCG.
3. Skills and experience in building planning strategies, mapping and improving processes, change management, etc.; experience in managing technical and organizational projects.
4. Ability to manage a team, considering legal conditions and technical documentation.
5. Knowledge of Lean tools and their effective implementation.
6. Knowledge of Ms Office software, IT issues, and the use of IT systems supporting maintenance.
7. Very good knowledge of English.
