Our Mobile team, dedicated to developing iOS and Android applications, plays a pivotal role in building essential components of the Egnyte Platform ecosystem. These apps empower our clients with seamless access to and management of their data. Additionally, our mobile solutions offer a wide range of features, including advanced AI-powered tools.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Direct team management (15+) across different locations (Poland, India, and US).
  • Setting team members for success, employee evaluation, and growth plans.
  • Providing business context to the team.
  • Setting up team-specific processes, monitoring, and improving productivity.
• Developing a high-scale product, on-time delivery.
  • SW architecture and Technical debt ownership, ensuring the product can scale and the technology is aligned with world-class standards.
  • Be hands-on and knowledgeable with the underlying iOS and Android technology stack.
  • Monitoring product usage, its performance, and reliability.
  • Constant improvement of the product quality.
• Direct cooperation with the team’s stakeholders within and outside of the organization.
  • Gathering business context from the Product/UX team.
  • Working out the product development plan (prioritizing, combining technical and business part of the agenda).
  • Reacting to customer feedback (patch releases, reprioritization, etc.), direct cooperation with the Support team.
  • Ensuring the requirements are well-defined with the Product/UX team.
• Being a member of Egnyte leadership team.
  • An active member of the leadership team at Egnyte, driving global initiatives, promoting and strengthening Egnyte culture, improving our standards, influencing the work environment.
  • Direct reporting to VP of Engineering.
  • Hybrid work culture: work from the office at least 3 days a week.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in leading distributed teams of 15+ members.
• Experience in working on a SaaS product, ideally at a large scale (1,000+ active customers).
• Technical background in mobile apps development (iOS, Android).
• Good judgment when to step in and when to step back to give your team space to act.
• Strong leadership and facilitation skills, as well as the ability to balance engineering and product-related concerns.
• A product-focused mindset.
• Solid communication skills, including strong written and spoken English.
