The project and the team

We need to onboard a highly qualified manager to help our teams achieve their goals. The project is not homogenous, it comprises multiple streams varying from development to delivery.

The heart of the project is security. Together with our client, a global cybersecurity leader, we are working on delivering projects and solutions to increase internal effectiveness and provide services to organizations around the world.

The team is international and multicultural, spread across the world. The project team consists of highly skilled network, DevOps, and software engineers.

Your role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a cybersecurity project. You need to have a strong technical background and deep understanding of the domain, and to have some network automation or software development experience. You will be responsible for the successful delivery and the sustaining of the current pace of growth of the project. Your responsibilities will include:

    Do we have a match?

    As an Engineering Manager, you must meet the following criteria:

    • Minimum 3 years as an Engineering Manager, Technical Manager, or similar role with the responsibility of managing projects for both T&M and fixed-price projects
    • Experience with managing network automation/software development projects
    • Managing and shaping a 7+ person team delivering a complex project
    • Hands-on experience (3-4 years) as a Software/Network/DevOps engineer working in customer-facing environment
    • Willingness to work flexible hours (EMEA & US timezone) in a multicultural environment
    • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal (C1 level minimum)

    Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate:

    • Experience in working as a highly specialized vendor for a global company
    • Experience in working in vendor’s Professional Services organization
