Be part of the teams responsible for developing new customer experience. We are building a comprehensive platform to make it easy for customers to evaluate, understand and utilize TomTom products and services, and your contribution will be essential for the platform’s success.

The impact you’ll make

1. As an Engineering Manager, you are accountable for the outcomes achieved by your teams.
2. You manage multiple engineering teams and foster a collaborative and performance-driven environment.
3. You set guidelines and policies for all developers in our department by aligning with peers, the industry and tech leads.
4. You improve our software engineering practices by challenging and improving the process and applying best practices from the industry.
5. You deliver results by identifying growth opportunities, empowering team members to take ownership and coaching them to success and doing a little bit better every day.
6. Beyond helping your team to be successful, you show leadership by identifying opportunities and taking ownership of initiatives outside your team’s scope.
7. You define a team topology and staffing plan that sets the team up for success.

What you’ll need

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
2. Proven experience in managing high-performing full stack engineering teams.
3. You can assess the impact of your team and experience.
4. You are an excellent communicator, a role model for leadership, and enjoy helping others to be successful just as much as having individual impact.
5. You have sufficient technical skills from your background in software development and knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
6. Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced and fast-changing environment.
7. This position is based in Lodz, Poland.
