Currently, for one of our portfolio products, we are looking for the following:

Engineering Manager

Your role:

We are seeking a growth-oriented Head of Engineering to join a SaaS business. The ideal candidate should have experience building engineering teams and developing high-performing products. The Head of Engineering is part of the company leadership team and reports directly to the CEO.

Role Duties:

• Leading the team of software engineers and collaborating with product teams to ideate, build, and launch new products into the market
• Creating and maintaining industry-leading policies and standards for software development, quality assurance, infrastructure, security and team management
• Preparing and optimizing the technology team budget to deliver on time and within the capital requirements of the business

Requirements:

• Extensive expertise with current and legacy Java versions (This is critical)
• Experience developing and maintaining Struts framework, JBoss, JQuery and Javascript
• Knowledge of Liferay, React framework and Maven
• Knowledge of Google Webtoolkit
• Familiarity with Wildfly and Knockout Js a plus
• Understanding of reporting and reporting tools such as Jasper
• Experience in SQL development of complex solutions
• Experience with PostgreSQL a plus
• Experience in provisioning, operations, and management of AWS environments
