Whats the project about?

A large, international company, founded by a young entrepreneur, has grown to become a global leader in iGaming over 13 years. They use technology to create a fun and competitive online community for US gamers at the highest level, focusing on innovation in technology, work methods, culture, and products.

You will be responsible for:

1. Working with stakeholders and product teams to design, build, test, and implement end-to-end solutions.
2. Creating products that meet performance, reliability, and quality expectations, defining SLIs and SLOs, and working to meet them.
3. Providing technical leadership, including writing high-quality code and mentoring senior engineers.
4. Collaborating with managers to determine further development plans and networking.
5. Understanding the OKRs of the team and business and using them to guide planning.
6. Actively participating in the development of the hiring plan and recruitment of new talent.

This role combines technical skills along with soft skills. Therefore, we are looking for a person who has:

1. Strong coding practices, including writing clean, well-organized code, automated testing, and source control management.
2. Familiarity with distributed application architecture and an understanding of the tenets of SOLID, DRY, DDD, TDD, CQRS, and ES.
3. Experience in delivering Web, Cloud, and Data technologies.
4. Understanding and implementation of Continuous Delivery practices in all aspects of SDLC, including regular creation of Pull Requests that are consistent and concise.
5. Experience in project and people management.
6. Perseverance, good interpersonal skills, and commitment.
7. Experience in leading meetings, clearly communicating technical approaches, status, assessment, and risk mitigation.
8. A willingness to develop and improve others.
