About the project

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a global innovator in fitness and wellness technology. Their mission is to empower people to live fit, strong, long, and happy lives by delivering integrated experiences to millions of members anytime, anywhere.

As an Engineering Manager in the Media Engineering team, you’ll lead talented engineers responsible for developing software that powers next-generation fitness products. Working at the intersection of hardware and software, you’ll help deliver engaging, high-performance user experiences across the company’s flagship devices. You’ll manage a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with experts in design, product, and hardware, and drive initiatives that improve both engineering efficiency and customer engagement.

Your responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of software engineers building customer engagement features for connected fitness products.
Foster a culture of learning, transparency, and performance-based growth.
Conduct regular team meetings, 1:1s, and performance reviews to support development goals.
Define measurable team KPIs and monitor delivery quality and efficiency.
Partner with Product, Design, and Program Management to deliver on quarterly and annual roadmaps.
Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of embedded and full-stack features.
Promote engineering best practices—automation, reusability, and design pattern adoption.
Identify and resolve cross-functional blockers to maintain team momentum.
Drive CI/CD integration, testing automation, and scalable delivery pipelines.
Encourage innovation and experimentation with new technologies.
Maintain balance between technical depth and product priorities.
Communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences to align strategy and execution.

Our requirements

8+ years of professional software development experience (mobile, backend API, or embedded systems).
Proven track record of deploying full-stack applications commercially (e.g., App Store).
Familiarity with CI/CD, test automation, and Agile methodologies.
4+ years in a technical management or team lead role.
Strong people management skills with experience in mentoring and performance coaching.
Skilled at balancing business and engineering priorities through collaboration and transparency.
Strategic thinker who identifies team strengths and optimizes delivery efficiency.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.
