For our client, a fast-growing fintech company, we are looking for an Engineering Manager.

With a strong technological background, they will not only mentor and set the team’s technology direction but also dive into the technical work when needed to ensure success.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Leading agile teams to implement features that deliver significant impact for our customers
- Designing technical aspects of user stories and plans for delivery
- Take ownership for overall delivery cadence and quality for your teams
- Identifying and removing obstacles and bottlenecks from the team
- Drive adoption of key engineering practices to improve delivery
- Mentor and coach team of engineers in agile and good practice
- Organising effective knowledge transfer, training, and documentation
- A Bachelor and/or Master degree
- 3+ years experience leading and managing software engineering teams, including coaching teams on agile practices
- Experience in Kanban or other immediate type delivery
- Previous experience in developing either Java, React, C# etc.
- 2+ years communicating to key stakeholders
Bonus Skills
- Experience in solution architecture
- Experience in managing projects
- Experience in cloud environments (AWS or equivalent)
- Experience in working with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience using SQL Server (or a similar relational database)
