We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager to join our team and lead our technical effort in developing innovative, secure, easy-to-use, scalable software solutions that drive our business growth. 


The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and a track record of building and managing high-performing, collaborative engineering teams in a fast-paced software environment.

What you will be doing: 

  • Drive and execute the companys long-term technical vision and architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.  
  • Make critical decisions around the technical stack, tools, and platforms, ensuring our technology is modern, efficient, and aligned with business needs. • Manage, mentor, and scale a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. 
  • Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of our software products, ensuring timely and quality releases in collaboration with Product Management. 
  • Implement best practices for software development, code quality, testing, and deployment to drive efficiency and reduce technical debt. 
  • Work closely with product and growth teams to align technical efforts with business goals, customer feedback, and market needs. 
  • Ensure that our system and infrastructure can scale efficiently as the company grows and our user base expands. 
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. 


What we expect from you to have:

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 8 years in a leadership or management role, preferably in a SaaS or software product company.  
  • Proven track record of building and scaling engineering teams with a focus on reliability, scalability, performance, and cost. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and mentor high-performing engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proven experience in system design and architecture, and hands-on development in modern programming languages and frameworks (React, TypeScript, Angular). 
  • Experience working closely with Product teams to deliver software products on time, while balancing feature development and technical excellence. • Expertise in Agile or Lean software development methodologies, with a focus on iterative development and continuous improvement. 
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders at all levels, in both in English and Polish. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of making impactful technical decisions. 
  • Familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities of startup environments, including rapid iteration, pivoting strategies, and resource constraints. 
  • Due to formal requirements, we require the candidate to be already located in Poland or have citizenship of a European Union Country, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland.

Salary: starting from 25k net to 35k net B2B or employment contract + bonus

  • You can expect a discussion about the role, company culture, team structure and about your background, experience, successes in similar roles.

3. Technical interview (1-1,5h) 

  • You can expect a deep dive into your experience in making architectural decisions, technical expertise with our tech stack, solving technical problems and agile approach. 

4.Panel discussion: Technical leadership case study (1-2h) 

  • You will be asked to prepare a presentation that highlights your general idea for building and scaling up our engineering team as well as your approach to real-world engineering problems that mirror the challenges we face. The presentation will be shared and followed up with QA from the companys leaders.
