Our Engagement suite is a set of tools that allow us to take the gaming experience to a higher level, giving ways for casino operators to further promote our games and providing players a more varied experience while playing our games.

Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact:

1. Leading and mentoring the team (developers and QA) that builds our engagement tools
2. Own all technical aspects of the engagement suite, ensuring alignment with our business goals and acting as a point of contact for architecture and cross-functional initiatives
3. Communicating and delivering the technical vision of our projects to the business at a high level and the team at an operational level
4. Understanding the broader context of the team, building business domain knowledge on how the suite is used in production, and helping set the technical roadmap to ensure constant improvements in scalability, efficiency, security, observability, and cost-effectiveness
5. Scoping complex tasks and projects, breaking them down into smaller tangible tasks that can be easily taken up by others on the team
6. Ensuring the quality of the team’s deliveries, making sure all changes are duly covered by comprehensive testing
7. Partnering with Product and Project managers and other technical Team Leads to assist with decisions around prioritization, execution, work division, planning, goal setting, tech-debt management, etc.
8. Working with developers and QAs to grow their technical, interpersonal, and leadership skills and to ensure they have the right challenges and necessary context to use them
9. Helping make the team stronger by leveraging (or introducing) frameworks and practices around project management, technical decision-making, communication practices, etc.
10. Responsible for recruitment, retention, and effectiveness of the team
11. Leading incident management efforts around engagement tools, from investigation to resolution
12. Actively contributing to the codebase collaborating with other tech teams

What Makes You A Strong Candidate:

1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2. 3+ years leading software engineering teams in a high-paced environment
3. 7+ years of experience in development with a solid mixture of backend and frontend skills
4. Knowledge of cloud computing and experience working with GCP, AWS, or Azure
5. Relational DBs (MySQL is a plus) and NoSQL DBs
6. Working knowledge of Java, Spring, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, CI/CD (Gitlab CI / Jenkins)
7. A proper understanding of the skills required in working in a remote environment, leading and communicating with people spread across multiple countries
8. Experience in the iGaming industry is highly desirable
