A Snapshot of Your Day:

Working as part of a global team, collaborating with colleagues in Germany, India and France, you will design and specify Unit Control Systems, Instrumentation, and Low Voltage Wiring systems which complement Rotating Machinery used in Industrial Applications - namely compression, power generation and Oil-Gas. Creating design drawings including control panel layout, I/O termination, control panel power distribution, instrumentation installation, motor control schematics, hardwired backup control circuits, single line diagrams.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

1. This role is responsible for control system scope of a rotating equipment project together with other project members and content provider, mainly System Engineering.
2. Design and specify Unit Control Systems, Instrumentation, and Low Voltage Wiring systems which complement Rotating Machinery used in Industrial Applications.
3. Create design drawings including P&I diagrams, instrument lists, control logics, control panel layout, I/O termination, control panel power distribution, instrumentation installation, motor control schematics, hardwired control circuits.
4. Specify and calculate control valves.
5. Incorporate Siemens Energy design standards and guidelines and adapt the assigned scope to meet project-specific requirements.
6. Conduct Unit Control Panel factory acceptance tests (FAT).
7. Monitor and manage the engineering schedule and hours-budget for the assigned scope, including on-time release of deliverables.
8. Conduct timely design reviews on the assigned scope and contribute to project design reviews.
9. Support detail engineering in cooperation with internal and external Customers.
10. Innovate, creatively apply lessons learned, and implement cost-effective solutions for COMOS PT development.

What Youll Bring:

1. Bachelor of Engineering Degree in discipline (Instrumentation/Controls/Electrotechnical), Diploma (State-certified technical engineer) with relevant experience shall also be considered.
2. 3 years of experience in Rotating Equipment (Compressors, Turbines) for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other Process Industry applications.
3. Experience in Electrical Equipment Engineering shall be considered.
4. Application experience with object-oriented Engineering Software, COMOS PT.
5. Knowledge and use of software: Teamcenter, SAP, Jira, Microsoft Office.
6. Know-how of standards: API 670, IEC 60079, IEC 61511.
7. Good Analytical & Cross-cultural skill set.
8. Proficiency in English Language.
