We are currently seeking Endpoint Engineering SME to join the End User services, Workspace Engineering team. The team is responsible for engineering and automating all aspects of End user devices including, Windows 11, macOS, eLux and virtualisation technologies used within HSBC including updates and lifecycle management. This also covers the technologies supporting the end user devices, (including, but not limited to, Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktop, Citrix NetScaler, Citrix Cloud/DaaS) with workloads hosted on VMware and Microsoft Azure, JAMF, SCOUT, MECM and Intune MDM and whilst using automation technologies, such Jenkins and Ansible.
This role presents an opportunity to be actively involved in shaping and defining the End user devices strategy, management infrastructure, image components, update strategy and telemetry data for a 300k+ devices in the estate across 26 countries.
responsibilities :
You will be delivering the overall End user devices solutions including OS, configuration, infrastructure and some applications to provide an outstanding experience to connect to the HSBC environments.
Continuously optimise the supporting management infrastructure and tooling including inventory and telemetry data.
Use automation and DevOps tooling to deliver updates and configuration changes across the estate at speed and reliably.
Contribute to the team and organization strategy and goals working collaboratively and demonstrating a commitment to shared success.

Demonstrate experience of engineering solutions in a large-scale end user device estate
Experience with some of the automation and DevOps tooling (Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, Splunk, Azure DevOps, Terraform, PowerShell, etc.).
Demonstrate experience delivering business requirements on Windows, mac and eLux OS and supporting infrastructure in an enterprise scale.
Experience in building a range of services in Azure using Infrastructure-as-a-code methods including virtual desktops, Citrix Cloud/DaaS service, Infrastructure build and configurations of a variety of services including Compute & Storage, Microsoft modern endpoint cloud services.
Demonstrate experience of Windows365, Autopilot, Intune, MECM, OSD TS, Active Directory, Group Policy management and Intune policies.
Have awareness on Cybersecurity, risk and compliance governance and how this can translate to the technology stack within End user services environments.
