Job Description
CD PROJEKT RED is looking for an Employment & Payroll Specialist who brings both autonomy and engagement to the role. You’ll support our team across the full scope of employment and payroll operations, understanding the deep interconnection between these areas. Daily Responsibilities
- Independently manage employee records in accordance with Polish labor law.
- Handle the full scope of employment lifecycle processes, including hiring, terminations, and changes in employment conditions.
- Process working time data and prepare payroll inputs.
- Calculate salaries, bonuses, and employee benefits; prepare payroll reports.
- Manage social security, tax, and pension-related processes (ZUS, PFRON, PPK/PPE), and maintain communication with relevant institutions.
- Collaborate with internal departments and support employees, managers, and HR Partners with employment and payroll-related matters.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and actively implement changes to optimize processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of Polish labor law, social security, PIT, and pension regulations (PPK/PPE).
- Excellent communication skills – ability to clearly explain employment and payroll policies and procedures both verbally and in writing (in Polish and English).
- Experience working with MS Office (especially Excel), Płatnik, and employment & payroll systems (knowledge of Enova 365 is a plus).
- Fluent Polish (native or equivalent level) – essential for interpreting labor law and regulations.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- University degree, preferably in Human Resources, Administration, Economics, or related field.
- A problem-solving mindset and confidence in making decisions independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a process-oriented approach.
- Flexibility and openness to change, especially in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Proactive attitude, with a readiness to identify bottlenecks and improve workflows.
- A collaborative mindset – you enjoy working in a team and contribute to shared goals.

- Working mode: Office-First — working primarily in the Warsaw office (minimum of 3 days a week in the office).
