Employee Connection Specialist

Warner Bros. Discovery is searching for an Employee Connection Specialist to join the Global Business Services (GBS) People & Culture Operations team. This role is based in Warsaw and will be a key player, regularly interacting with employees to support and address their P&C Services‑related requests.

The specialist supports and executes standardized, repeatable processes including employee onboarding and off‑boarding, benefits, mobility, operations and compliance for European‑based employees. The hire is expected to be highly independent and proactive in identifying and implementing positive change and improvements to deliver a great employee experience aligned with our culture.

Role Accountabilities

  • Analyze, capture, respond to and resolve P&C, pay, policy, benefits, employee data and other requests using ServiceNow (SNOW) Case Management.
  • Process employee data transactions within Workday, maintaining ongoing changes throughout the employee lifecycle (on/off‑boarding, job changes, mobility, position management).
  • Prepare employment contracts and related documents, manage company benefit payments, and respond to employment verification requests.
  • Act as primary support for EMEA P&C teams and review data prior to processing, reaching out to HR partners or managers as needed.
  • Audit HR systems to ensure correct information has been input and processed.
  • Ensure compliance with policy and control environment, including data privacy, SOX, audits and government inspections in coordination with EC Management.
  • Process data correction requests from field or as a result of internal audits; counsel HR on impacts such as vacation accrual, pension, benefits or bonus.
  • Respond to SNOW tickets within the agreed Service Level Agreements.
  • Support large company‑wide data changes (mergers, acquisitions, divestitures) and prepare data for mass loads, ensuring completeness and sensibility before handing over to the HRIS team.
  • Assist EC team members with workload, coach new team members, and maintain accurate process guides.
  • Drive ongoing process improvements and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of Human Resources administrative or related experience, preferably from a global shared services environment. Must maintain confidentiality and handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • Language Requirements: Fluent in English and one other European language (Romanian, Turkish, or Hungarian).
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Workday HR/payroll or other SaaS payroll and ServiceNow or other case management/knowledge‑base tools strongly preferred. Ability to learn new technology quickly; proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Relationship Management: Strong relationship skills; experienced in building and maintaining effective collaborations. Recognized for reliability, integrity, and trustworthiness.
  • Process Management: Skilled in process improvements and problem‑solving, taking initiative to own work projects/tasks. Ability to manage ad‑hoc high‑volume activities in a fast‑paced environment independently.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent planning, time management, prioritization and follow‑up skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and customer‑service skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly at all levels in English. Flexible and adaptable to cope with fast‑changing and complex environments.
