Assist EMEA Logistics Procurement Manager with overall Management of Logistics Procurement Category
Prepare, coordinate, and run regular customs and logistics quotations, in the EMEA regional procurement area.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements, shipment data and other requisite information.
Run spend data analysis, internal/ external price benchmarking activities and build cost models.
Position Description / Main Responsibilities:
Procuring Import and export customs brokerage and other logistics services via outsourced partners
Design and launch regular RFX for logistics services
Collecting internal data & preparing baseline. This allow requires data verification, data cleansing & sanity with respect to requirements (baseline, volume, external price offers, volumes etc.)
Analyzing the offers and preparing the results in a few different scenarios
Prepare the allocations and PCN issuance.
Creation of SLA Document, hyper care follow-up with CSD/Sites/Logistics Operations Team
Preparing the contracting and POA (Power of Attorney) documentation with Vesuvius legal counsel and administration of legal documents maintenance in the VCM portal
Coordinate and manage 3PL suppliers’ activities through quarterly business reviews and identify potential
opportunities for improvements. Keep track of supplier performance – KPI’s, SLAs, reports, dashboards, and scorecards
Collaborate with internal stakeholder groups (Sales, Production, Procurement, R&D and Supply Chain, Operations, CSD) to ensure gathering of right business requirements and support Logistics Procurement Manager in the implementation of sourcing initiatives to realize procurement value.
Create logistics reports related to category, KPI dashboards, charts, and spend analyses to recommend more cost-effective methods to manage the spend
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
Fluent command of English
University degree preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Procurement, Engineering, or equivalent fields of study
Previous experience in logistics & transport and customs procurement/operations and procurement positions (minimum 1-3 years).
Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze complicated data, interpret and use facts and figures in an effective manner.
Solid knowledge and experience in using Excel. BI tools knowledge would be an advantage.
