Job Overview

Reporting to the GBS Senior Director, the EPPM Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management Regional Lead, EMEA will play a pivotal role within the Global Business Services – EPPM team. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of project managers and drive the successful planning, management, and delivery of development and strategic initiatives. You will collaborate closely with Regional and TGS stakeholders to define priorities, enhance project execution, and elevate overall project management performance.

Key Responsibilities

People Management

  • Lead and inspire a team of project managers, ensuring alignment with Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management EPPM processes and standards.
  • Mentor and coach team members to strengthen communication, technical expertise, and interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and monitor progress toward team and individual goals.
  • Manage administrative responsibilities related to direct reports.

Stakeholder Management

  • Engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels and across functions.
  • Act as a connector and facilitator, simplifying processes and fostering strong partnerships.
  • Identify potential issues early and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve them.

Demand Management

  • Identify new projects and maintain an up-to-date Project Priority List with regional and cross-functional leaders.
  • Participate in global meetings to define and align project priorities.
  • Manage team workload allocation to optimize project delivery and resource utilization.
  • Resolve conflicts between competing priorities and ensure budget coordination across projects.
  • Maintain a global view of resource availability to support strategic planning.

Project Management

  • Lead high-priority, strategically significant projects.
  • Establish governance frameworks for major transformation programs aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Ensure programs and projects remain on schedule, within scope, and on budget while managing risks effectively.
  • Leverage the strengths of individual project managers to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate program activities on behalf of executive sponsors and steering committees.
  • Provide long-term visibility into project timelines and proactively mitigate risks.

Continuous Process Improvement

  • Think and act strategically across functions, promoting the “build once, use many” approach.
  • Identify and implement new tools, processes, and methodologies to support prioritization and decision-making.
  • Enhance project management consistency through improved procedures, policies, and technologies.
  • Track and document successes, challenges, and lessons learned to strengthen the project management function.
  • Maintain all key governance artifacts in line with established standards and methodologies.

About You

  • Proven experience in project management in large corporate organisation (minimum 8 years)
  • Experience leading multiple projects within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Solid understanding of Agile principles and the ability to promote an agile attitude.
  • Hands‑on experience with Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira.
  • Preferred: Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe Agilist, ICAgile) and experience in scaled Agile environments.
  • Highly collaborative, adaptable, and driven by innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong leadership skills, including active listening, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Strategic, independent, and creative thinker with experience managing global projects.

Compensation

Compensation range for the role: 380k–400k PLN fixed
