Overview

UBS is hiring for the EMEA Head of Client Onboarding Engagement Team. Location: Krakow or London. You will manage a regional team of 50+ professionals whose main role is to build relationships with clients and ensure onboarding across AML and regulatory requirements. This role leads a new, combined team across Transition, KYC, Regulatory and Documentation to integrate into one high-performing unit focused on client experience, first-time-right execution and scalable processes.

• You’ll be managing the regional Client Onboarding Engagement Team to understand client asks, act as single point of contact, build relationships with clients to smoothly execute onboarding; gather required documentation; collaborate with Client Onboarding Business Management, Onboarding Fulfillment, and Approval teams; serve as primary face-off to clients and business for onboarding requirements against deadlines
• Your team will be part of the wider IB Onboarding organization focusing on bringing together a unique skillset to drive capabilities for our clients

Qualifications

• Experienced leader with 10+ years in the onboarding space, managing large teams
• Deep understanding of the financial market, clients, their types and vendors used in the market
• Proven track record of working with clients and optimizing processes based on client feedback while ensuring compliance
• Proven track record of delivering scale for operational teams
• Deep understanding of AML and regulatory requirements related to onboarding clients for your region
• Strong understanding of technology and vendors used in the space to maximize straight-through processing
• Strong presentation, analytical and communication skills
• Solution-oriented mindset to increase throughput and reduce time to market
