We are seeking a skilled and experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our engineering team in Warsaw. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining embedded software solutions for telematics devices that run in millions of customer vehicles worldwide; reliability is key. You will work closely with hardware engineers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver robust and efficient embedded systems.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in C/C++ programming, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and embedded system architecture. You should be confident working with low-level hardware interfaces, troubleshooting complex issues, and optimizing performance in resource-constrained environments. You will be part of an agile team that continuously adds new features while maintaining a strong focus on code quality through daily code reviews and mandatory unit testing.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver new features quickly and efficiently.
  • Share knowledge within and across teams.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Design scalable, efficient, and secure software architecture solutions.
  • Review code to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications and experience

  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems development (C++11).
  • 2–3 years of experience as an embedded developer.
  • Solid understanding of embedded system architecture, microcontrollers, and low-level hardware interfaces.
  • Good knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, and testing.
  • Experience writing and maintaining unit tests.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN.
  • Experience with debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
  • Hands‑on soldering of THT and SMD components.

  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills in English and Polish.
  • Collaborative mindset with hardware, QA, and product teams.
  • Open to dialogue and feedback.
  • Passionate about electronics, electromechanics, mechanics, or automotive.
