Job Name-Embedded Software Engineer
Location-Sweden
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop connectivity solution for medical devices covering user and backend interfaces
- Update Embedded Linux distributions considering technical and regulatory requirements
- Develop high quality software for Healthcare Devices according to medical standards
- Make key technology recommendations and decisions throughout the project lifecycle
- Effectively communicate with customer and project team to solve complex technical challenges
- Strive to ensure that best practice is followed, and suggest improvements as necessary
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of experience working as Embedded Systems Engineer or similar position
- Considerable knowledge of C / C ++ and embedded Linux
- Experience with wireless communication stacks (BLE, WiFi, etc)
- Experience in integration and configuration of Linux based platforms and build environments (Yocto, buildroot, etc)
- Degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or closely related discipline
- The ability to work independently with little supervision and aware of business needs
- Proactive, open, reliable team player
Experience in any of the following areas is a distinct advantage:
- Experience with dockers, CI/CD tools
- Knowledge and experience in Python, Unit testing , Continuous Integration environments
- Proven delivery of successful products to market, working across the entire project lifecycle
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, life science or digital health industry, experience with ISO13485 and IEC62304
