Embedded Software Developer

Logitech is looking for an Embedded Software Developer to join our new team in Krakow.

Role Summary

You will be a core contributor, taking ownership of significant software modules for future devices. You will design and implement robust firmware features while ensuring high standards of performance, acting as a bridge between architectural vision and implementation, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating closely with technical leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex features from concept to production, contributing to architectural discussions and designing modular software components that align with the platform vision.
  • Write efficient, maintainable code and drive test automation, investigating and resolving difficult system-level issues to ensure product reliability.
  • Work autonomously within the global team and support developers through code reviews and technical advice, facilitating knowledge sharing within the squad.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing workflows or codebases, prototype new ideas to enhance product functionality or developer efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded software engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systems.
  • Solid understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and hardware/software constraints.
  • Experience with Zephyr RTOS and the Twister test framework.
  • Experience with ARM Cortex‑M or RISC‑V architectures.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology is a strong plus.
  • Ability to work independently and guide less experienced team members.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Willingness to work on‑site in the Krakow office at least 3 days a week.
