• The Embedded Competency Center is an organizational unit of Sii, that brings together almost 500 specialists. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer. A candidate should have experience in the Linux graphics stack. Join us and work while learning and developing yourself on projects that impact our communities and society!

• Drive the development and integration of key products, including a system-wide Wayland compositor and a developer-friendly Qt stack
• Enhance and extend Unity as the next-level UI toolkit, make architectural decisions, and guide teams in adopting the product
• Take ownership of delivered software, ensuring functionality, quality, and high graphics performance
• Support the Product Owner in planning and prioritizing component development
• Coordinate development, planning, and testing activities with internal and external stakeholders

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communication Technology, or an equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in software development within geographically distributed, highly online teams
• Expertise in at least one area: Unity (low-level and system integration), C++, Qt5/Qt6, QML, or Wayland
• Solid background in Linux or Android graphics stacks, especially Vulkan, EGL, OpenGL, and system integration
• Strong grasp of both agile and traditional development methodologies
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Berlin
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to work effectively in an international environment
• Residing in Poland required
