We are seeking an Elixir Engineer to join our client. You will be part of their core product team, collaborating closely with other engineers, designers, and product managers. Youll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and clean architecture.

Work Setup: 100% Remote work

Rate: 680 - 1040 PLN/net/day + VAT (B2B contract) - depending on experience

Language: English & Polish (B2+ Required)

Start date: depending on candidate availability

Twój zakres obowiązków

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Elixir, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Collaborating with product managers and designers to deeply understand user needs and translate them into robust technical solutions
  • Taking ownership of a defined problem area — proposing, planning, and implementing improvements end-to-end
  • Building and maintaining APIs that power user-facing applications and external integrations
  • Working with PostgreSQL to design efficient data models and optimize queries for performance

Nasze wymagania

  • 2+ years of professional experience as an Elixir Engineer, including:
  • Solid knowledge of Elixir and its ecosystem
  • Understanding of BEAM VM, clustering, and message passing
  • Familiarity with tools like Ecto, ExUnit, Phoenix, and ETS
  • Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and data modeling
  • Experience working with large codebases
  • Understand best practices for building web-scale applications
  • You are a team player who takes full ownership of your work
  • Communicate effectively in English and Polish (written and spoken)

Submission of other data by the candidate is voluntary. No submission of personal data within the required scope or objection to the processing of
such data shall result in lack of possibility to include the Application in the recruitment processes conducted by the Company.
The candidate has the right to access and rectify the contents of their data, remove such data, limit its processing, transfer such data, submit objection to the processing and revoke the consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing conducted under such consent before it was
withdrawn. The candidate also has the right to file a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection when they consider the processing of their personal data to be a violation of the provisions of the GDPR.
