Responsibilities

• Development of production documentation for electrical assembly and cable harness manufacturing
• Determination of cable lengths in CAD and design of wiring harnesses
• Review of electrical schematics and cable lists
• Technical support for external partners and suppliers
• Development of various assembly tools such as wiring harness fixtures, test boxes and power supply devices
• Close collaboration with Engineering for new assembly concept development
• Continuous optimisation of production workflows

Our requirements

• Completed technical training as an electrical engineer in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable fields with a technicians diploma or bachelors degree.
• Proven experience in switchgear construction
• Hands on experience with E CAD systems ideally E3 Zuken
• Experience with CAD systems is an asset ideally Catia
• At least five years of industry experience in machinery electrical or supplier environments
• Strong cost and quality awareness
• Excellent analytical and abstract thinking skills
• Good command of English or German is an advantage.
