Overview

Electronics Repair Engineer - Wroclaw, (PL) – role at UNIS Group. Based in Wroclaw, with potential to work at our HQ in the Netherlands. For candidates relocating to the Netherlands, we offer tax benefits through the 30% ruling provided by the Dutch Tax Authority.

What will you be doing?

  • Performing repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment, including variable speed drives, PLCs, touchscreen HMIs, and power supplies.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting down to the component level using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators.
  • Working with and without the aid of schematics to identify and resolve issues.
  • Soldering and reworking components (SMD and through-hole).
  • Creating and following test procedures to ensure equipment is repaired to the highest standard.
  • Using problem-solving skills to apply a logical approach to testing and fault finding.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation of work performed, diagnoses made, and spare parts used.
  • You primarily work independently, occasionally collaborating with team members as needed, while reporting directly to the team leader.

What do we expect from you?

  • Proven practical and theoretical experience in electronics.
  • Relevant knowledge of electronic components.
  • Proven experience in repairing electronic equipment at the component level.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions and errors in customer equipment using tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and measuring/testing equipment.
  • Ability to correctly interpret measurement and test data.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • SEP licence.
  • Experience with (SMD) soldering is an advantage.
