For our Client, international company we are looking for the Candidate for the position of Electronic Test Engineer .

Requirements

• Engineering degree in electronic, electrotechnics or automation field (or similar)
• 4+ years experience in similar role in field of electronic diagnosis and test
• Ability to read schematics and identify different functional blocks.
• Ability to learn new PCB Assemblies using Schematics
• Experience fault finding to component level and completing 8D Reports
• Strong analytical skills. Experience using Scripts, Macros or software to analyse data sets and present data.
• Practical hands on experience using Oscilloscopes, DVM’s, PSUs and Function generators.
• Soldering skills and manufacturing knowledge of PCB assemblies
• Knowledge about IPC standards related with Acceptability of Printed boards and Electronics assembly.
• Fluent English written and spoken
• Enjoy solving problems and helping people

Responsibilities

• Work closely with production to understand emerging issues and frame problems which need support from other engineering disciplines.
• Lead root cause analysis and create a summary reports, feedback to Hardware team design change proposal.
• Conduct test plans and produce written reports summarising if the PASS/FAIL criteria has been met.
• Work with different engineering disciplines to create robust requirements to prove designs meet customer requirements.
• Support manual testing process of optical switch components and create test improvements proposal
