To strengthen our Product Design Studio Competence Center, we are looking for an Electrical Transient Simulation Engineer to join an international R&D environment. You will work on advanced engineering projects for a global client from the energy sector, contributing to the development and validation of electrical systems used in industrial and power applications.

Your tasks

• Developing and implementing design rules for transformers and power electronic systems
• Modeling and validating transient phenomena in medium and high‑frequency electrical systems
• Analyzing overvoltage events and the impact of transient conditions on electrical networks
• Using simulation tools (MATLAB, FEM) to analyze network resonance and system configurations
• Providing technical support during the requirements definition phase and to the quality teams
• Taking ownership of assigned work packages within R&D projects
• Contributing to intellectual property and risk management activities

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in transient analysis and simulation of electrical power systems
• Knowledge of grid‑connected power converters and switching behaviour
• Strong proficiency in MATLAB and electrical simulation tools (Simulink, PLECS, LTSpice, EMTP)
• Experience with FEM tools (Ansys, Comsol) – nice to have
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in international teams
• Very good command of English
• Residing in Poland required
