Electrical Transient Simulation Engineer
Join Sii Poland as an Electrical Transient Simulation Engineer and contribute to advanced engineering projects for a global client in the energy sector. Your work will support the development and validation of electrical systems used in industrial and power applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement design rules for transformers and power electronic systems.
- Model and validate transient phenomena in medium and high‑frequency electrical systems.
- Analyze overvoltage events and assess the impact of transient conditions on electrical networks.
- Use simulation tools (MATLAB, FEM) to analyze network resonance and system configurations.
- Provide technical support during the requirements definition phase and to quality teams.
- Take ownership of assigned work packages within R&D projects.
- Contribute to intellectual property and risk management activities.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in transient analysis and simulation of electrical power systems.
- Knowledge of grid‑connected power converters and switching behavior.
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB and electrical simulation tools (Simulink, PLECS, LTSpice, EMTP).
- Experience with FEM tools (Ansys, Comsol) – nice to have.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in international teams.
- Very good command of English.
- Residing in Poland required.
