Electrical Hardware Engineer

Location: Cracow (hybrid )

 

 

For our client, a global leader in sustainable mobility solutions for the automotive industry, we are seeking creative and dynamic candidates. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer hardware requirements, translating them into detailed product specifications, and conducting compliance testing for power inverters and control units.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze technical requirements from stakeholders and collaborate with all parties involved in the project (customers and internal team).
  • Decompose requirements into architectural blocks, I/O interfaces, and design requirements assigned to engineering teams: electronic, mechanical, validation, and manufacturing.
  • Prepare product definition documents and manage changes.
  • Develop requirements for embedded test software.
  • Create functional test plans for products, define hardware configurations, and test setups.
  • Conduct functional hardware testing on designated test benches.
  • Provide technical support for hardware validation regarding environmental conditions and electromagnetic compatibility.
  • Offer technical assistance in implementing changes in the production process.
  • Support test and validation programs executed for customers.
  • Participate in problem-solving activities.

 

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in automotive electronics or e-mobility (hardware).
  • Good understanding of embedded hardware systems.
  • Experience with effective problem-solving methodologies.
  • Knowledge of DMFEA, FMEA and FTA
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to think broadly while paying attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of German or French would be an additional asset.
