Description

Leading Contractor seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to work on an exciting new Data Centre project in Europe. Engage in Pre-construction Engineering activities and liaise with all parties to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of a Hyperscale Data Centre project for a blue-chip organization. Responsibilities

1. Engage in Pre-Construction Engineering activities and the production of information including design development, construction details, technical submittals, and sub-contracts.
2. Engage in services co-ordination exercises and solve co-ordination issues.
3. Liaise with vendors, suppliers, sub-contractors, specialist designers, manufacturers, etc., with respect to the specification, validation, and value engineering of products and equipment to be supplied to the project.
4. Liaise and co-ordinate with clients, other members of the design team, and contractors on technical and commercial issues.
5. Develop and build project cable and cable termination schedules.
6. Seek to clarify queries with the design team through the request for information (RFI) system.
7. Prepare and submit technical submittals for approval.

Personal Requirements

1. Degree qualification in electrical engineering.
2. 2-5 years’ experience in construction.
3. Ideally, experience in Pharmaceutical or Data Centre projects.
4. Must be able to work and travel freely in the EU.
