Job Description:
For our partner GC Energy, we are looking for a person for the position of Electrical and Instrumental Quality Inspector.
GC Energy operates in the industrial investment sector in Poland and abroad. It specializes in the installation of control and measurement equipment, industrial automation, and electrical installations. The company has participated in the construction of many power plants (including a nuclear power plant), LNG terminal construction, and many petrochemical industry investments. For several years, GC Energy has also been working for the IT and automotive industries.
Responsibilities
- Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site.
- Filling Quality Records and providing to Quality Manager assistant for process.
- Preparation and performing inspections for all electrical and instrumental installations and witnessing all testing required.
- Checking the conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtaining the relevant documentation, checking procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections, managing documents that certify tests, controls and inspections.
- Active participation in preparation of calculation needs in terms of the Contract.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the oil and gas industry.
- Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
- Experience in final installation inspections and testing for Instrument calibrations including ultrasonic flow meter, level transmitters, temperature transmitters, pressure transmitters, etc.
- Previous experience in high voltage electrical installations including switchgear and electric drives.
- Working knowledge of construction standards, codes of practice, and regulations/legislation relating to electrical and instrumentation work.
- Hazardous Area installation and inspection experience is an advantage.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Experience in filling and preparing Inspection forms and reports.
- Knowledge and able to read Construction documentation.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Package. Familiar with other computer packages (e.g., MS Project, Outlook, etc.).
- Able to work autonomously and in a team, with Problem-Solving Skills and Excellent organizational skills.
