This position is based at our Luxembourg headquarters and requires regular office presence. The EIB, the European Unions bank, is seeking to recruit for its Portfolio Management & Monitoring Directorate (PMM) – Joint Middle Office Department (JMO) – Disbursements Division (DISB), Disbursements 1 & Disbursements 2 Units, at its headquarters in Luxembourg: TRAINEES. Duration: 5 months (fixed start date: 1st April 2026). Please note that, as marked on our Webpage, only applications from nationals of the Member States of the European Union, as well as citizens from countries that have been officially granted candidate status to join the EU, can be considered (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine). Candidates whose Erasmus+ programme overlaps with the duration of the traineeship will not be considered. Please note that you are requested to limit your applications to a maximum of three traineeship publications. We will only consider and retain the first three applications submitted.
Joint Middle Office Department (JMO) Disbursements Division (DISB) is responsible for all disbursement activities pertaining to various lending products of the Bank within and outside the EU, and provides services to Operations (OPS), EIB Global (GLO) and Portfolio Management and Monitoring (PMM) Directorates. You will have an opportunity to familiarize yourself with EIB disbursement procedures and lending‑related contractual documentation. You will assist the unit in disbursement‑related tasks and gain insight into other relevant activities crucial for the EIBs project cycle. You will also assist the team in reaching its business objectives.
