This position is based at our Luxembourg headquarters and requires regular office presence. The EIB offers you the opportunity to live and work in a truly international and multi‑cultural environment.
Duration: 5 months (fixed start date: 1st March/April 2026). Possible extension: up to 6 months if required by University. Nationality requirements: only applicants who are nationals of EU Member States or eligible candidate countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine) are considered.
Important: Candidates whose Erasmus+ programme overlaps with the traineeship duration will not be considered. Please limit your applications to a maximum of three traineeship publications – only the first three submissions will be retained.
Objective of the traineeship: Critical Raw Materials (CRMs) are crucial in the digital and green transitions due to their high economic importance and supply risk. You will support the Bank’s internal team in consolidating knowledge on CRMs, providing market, supply chain and technology trends research, and analysing the Bank’s investment potential of future projects.
