Location: Luxembourg headquarters. The traineeship lasts 5 months starting on 1 March/April 2026 (possible extension up to 6 months). The programme is open to EU nationals and citizens of EU candidate countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine). Candidates in Erasmus+ overlapping the duration or applying more than three times will not be considered.
Objective: The trainee will study EU legislation impacting digital infrastructure and cybersecurity, evaluate the current state of European digital networks, identify compliance gaps, and provide investment and regulatory alignment insights. The role blends policy analysis with practical impact, supporting the EIB’s financing of future‑proof digital ecosystems.
