Join the European Investment Bank (EIB) for a 5‑month traineeship (fixed start date 1st March 2026, with a possible extension up to 6 months). The programme is based at the EIB headquarters in Luxembourg and requires a regular office presence.
Eligibility: Only citizens of EU Member States and those from countries that have been officially granted candidate status (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine) are considered. Candidates with an overlapping Erasmus+ programme will not be considered. Applications are limited to a maximum of three traineeship publications; the first three applications submitted will be retained.
Under the supervision of the Head of Unit, you will support loan officers in Poland and the Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia) by reducing the undisbursed stock of PLN‑denominated loans, creating a monitoring tool for profitability tracking, participating in the appraisal of one operation, and providing ad‑hoc support on new operations and existing clients.
