Overview

EHS Advisor for CoS (Construction Services) role at Xella Polska in Warszawa. We are seeking a candidate to contribute as part of the Central EHS team and to support COS leaders in safety compliance across projects.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute as a Central EHS team member to the development and implementation of overarching EHS goals within Xella Group
  • Support COS leaders in the identification, evaluation, standardization, and implementation of COS safety requirements
  • Introduce and support the implementation of Xella safety standards
  • Conduct risk assessments, inductions, and safety instructions
  • Investigate and analyze incidents and High Potential events
  • Perform Safety Walks and implement Life Saving Rules (LSR)
  • Develop and support the implementation of COS safety standards, including: Protocols and checklists across all project phases (offer preparation, contracts, execution, contractor evaluation); Safety checklists for inspections and audits; Contractor and partner management, including evaluation of services and suppliers; Induction standards for contractors
  • Carry out audits and inspections
  • Develop training programs and train local facilitators
  • Consult COS leaders regarding legal obligations in the field of safety
  • Define KPIs and provide regular reporting

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Degree and certification as Safety Engineer (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent)
  • Certified management system representative and safety auditor according to ISO 45001 (or comparable qualification)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing safety in the construction business
  • Fluent English at business level
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
